Performance
Each of the nine departments offer instruction leading to degrees in performance (B.M., M.M., and D.M.A.), other curricula at the undergraduate and graduate levels. Within the framework of an outstanding major music school, the faculty offers comprehensive study through private lessons, ensembles, and master classes, as well as instrument pedagogy and literature courses. The faculty is comprised of world-class artist-teachers who maintain national and international schedules as soloists, clinicians, chamber musicians, and orchestral and jazz performers. Learning and working side-by-side with outstanding students and faculty, each division is large enough to provide a diverse collegial environment as well as individualized instruction with comparatively small classes.
