The School of Music boasts 7800 alums, many of whom are award-winning music educators, performers, composers, musicologists, and administrators. The internationally-known alumni include Fulbright Scholars, Pulitzer Prize recipients and Grammy Award winners. They are creative—they are innovators; several are entrepreneurs of their own businesses. Others are on the world stages in operas; many hold principal positions in orchestras and in the United States Armed Services bands while others are conductors of outstanding choirs. Many teach young children; others educate teenagers and college students; yet, others teach in private studios.
The School is extremely proud of all of its graduates and their accomplishments. Learn more about them by opening the Alumni News section or read about them in sonorities —the School of Music's alumni magazine.
