Note - the University of Illinois currently uses units of credit for graduate work. Each unit is equivalent to 4 semester hours, with fractional units equal to the appropriate number of semester hours (e.g., .5 unit = 2 semester hours, etc.). This system will change effective Fall 2004, so that all academic credit at the graduate and undergraduate level will be shown in semester hours.
